I love to teach people tips and tricks that I’ve learned from a lifetime in the kitchen. I’m convinced that everyone has an inner chef that’s just waiting to be liberated. A little coaxing is all you need to help you be more confident in the kitchen. Having a group that’s learning with you makes it more fun. There are several ways that you can participate in the ’til we eat again cooking clubs.
Gentlemen’s Dining Club
This club meets once a month in Santa Barbara and is limited to 6 members. We spend a Saturday afternoon preparing five dishes, with five ingredients and five easy steps. We start at three and end by six. At six, the members can invite a guest and then we all sit down to enjoy the meal. If you’d like to be considered for an upcoming meeting, click Contact below and we’ll schedule a conversation so that I can learn more about what you’re looking for in membership. If you want to start your own club, let’s talk about how to make it a success.
Raw Food Workshops
This specialty Dining Club focuses on how to make a 5 course raw meal from scratch. It’s easy, once you’ve seen how to put everything together. As a group we will make appetizers, a soup, a layered salad and main course, then finish with a spectacular raw dessert. Each workshop has an entirely different menu. Your guests can join in a shopping excursion to the Farmer’s Market if your workshop is on a Saturday. If you are interested in hosting one of these workshops in your home and invite your friends as club members, contact me and we’ll talk and go over how we can create an amazing experience for you and your guests.
Private Cooking Clubs
Want to do something unique and unexpected for your friends? You and I can conjure up a spectacular day so that you can learn Greek, Indian, Spanish, Raw or Pan-Asian cooking and amaze your friends. Invite a close set of friends and together we will create a feast that you can then invite more friends to enjoy when we’ve finished cooking. Each guest will receive a custom book created for the event including recipes, shopping lists, preparation timelines – everything they’ll need to recreate their own culinary experience. These can be a lot of fun – contact me to schedule a conversation about what you have in mind.
