Dark Handmade Chocolate from John Kelly Chocolates.I love it when you find a surprise – like I did today on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica – these amazing chocolates are handmade in West Hollywood and are stunning. They bring in cacao from Ecuador and you can tell that they really put care into these chocolates. What’s so unusual is the size of the pieces – they are easily 2.5 oz and have nice flavor combos – Chipolte, Hawaiian Sea Salt, Raspberry – and the interior ganache is smooth and not too sweet. Lovely. Bringing some to London for our weekend host. They’ll be surprised.
