I had the chance to meet Katie Belanger, the founder of Cinnies and am very pleased to see these cinnamon rolls being offered in Santa Barbara. What’s interesting to me is that she’s working under the Cottage Food Act, which is something I’m very interested in. This is the law that allows you to make / bake foods at home and sell them at Farmers’ Markets, local stores, etc. She’s got a degree in Food and Beverage Management and a minor in Business and is working hard building her business.
I’m going to be interviewing her for 805conversations so you’ll be able to hear her backstory.
