I am so glad that I have this workhorse in my kitchen. Most people use it for smoothies, the included lids with drinking spouts make it a natural for that. I use it for dressings and sauces. This is an excellent way to make a vinaigrette or fruit coulis, then keep it in the refrigerator for quick access. It cleans so quickly and can make velvety sauces in seconds. In fact, you have to be careful if you are only interested in lightly blended foods. For instance, don’t use the Ninja to make a Pesto – as it will turn it into a pesto-spread with no texture, other than a smoothness you can’t get elsewhere.
